reading life

For Christmas my wife bought me a Kindle - which I've always approached with hesitation. Being a bookwork, I love the feel, smell and permanence of a book. In ten years, my books should still be around; the same can't be said for Amazon's DRM.

But my adventure into entrepreneurship has had me flying through business books. I honestly don't care much about whether they're on public display in my library, and considering most of my library is filled with really old books, they'd look a bit awkward. So the Kindle is perfect: my business library's much more portable, it really is easier on the eyes, and besides, Agile Estimating and Planning doesn't sit well next to the Complete Works of Aristotle in my library.
